I thought I was done with this place.  I finally had reached my breaking point with the spam and shitty slow server.  It seemed like I had enough other frustrations without having to deal with this, but damn it if I'm not back!

What have I been doing?  Well, not much.  By that I mean not much other than working and running.  That pretty much takes up all my free time.  Work is the same.  I guess I'm very fortunate to find a position where my lack of enthusiasm for filing and well .... working is not taken personally. :P

Running is going better than expected.  I've done several 4+ mile runs and am feeling pretty confident in them.  I'm doing some research into stretching and other stuff that compliments running.  I am finding new ways to stretch that don't require me to sit on the ground, which I like since the ground at the trail is used by people and animals alike.

Socially I've had some doubts about my reason for smiling.  These training missions suck (as Lucytorial would say) camel nuts!  I'm not sure whether he's so busy he doesn't have time to at least email or if he's having so much fun he's forgotten all about me.  He has to come home some time soon so we'll see if I don't spring back to mind.

Sweetie will be spending a week with me.  She's got all my free time other than running planned for me. (yes, it's sarcasm)  She has quite a list of things "we" need to do to get her ready to go back to school.  This week alone it's hair color, cut, waxing and dress shopping.  Would it be wrong of me to take my sweet time coming home just so that I could have a couple of minutes of breathing time?  Maybe I'll start running every day instead of every other day so that I can get that alone time.

So what have you all been up to?

I reached my breaking point too, and as a result I'm only commenting now, no more posting. Not much else here but work, home improvement and family drama. Sounds like you're keeping busy, which while sometimes seeming overwhelming is probably better than too much idle time. Kudos on the running, glad you ate keeping at it and growing with the experience.

Hege - yeah, just getting this blog up nearly had me swearing.

Good to "see" you and glad to know you are doing ok.  Cool that you are doing so great at the running and enjoying it.  You mentioned the stretches and I do this little thing every morning now---I deep breathe and bend at the waist with my arms hanging down.  I gradually loosen my lower back muscles bit by bit until my fingers touch the floor.  (sort of a quick meditation if you will, with my eyes closed.)  I am always surprised when my fingers touch the floor.  Then I slowly straighten back up, so as not to get dizzy.  Ha.  Maybe you can try that as it's quick and works well.   Hope you are having fun with your sweetie getting ready for the new school year.  Wow...time is sure flying if it's that time again already!    Nothing new with me.  Just working, trying to cram in some of that "me time" too.  And watching the green bar try to load as the spinning circle keeps going round and round......   Take care!  Love wombie

I am glad that the running is going good. Things are going the same for me.

I'm free as a bird for the next week -- just got back from dinner with a friend from college.  Girls night out!  SC runs slow which I could put up with I guess, but copsunite and his/her merry band of alts need to be locked in a closet somewhere.

wombie - I like that stretch.  I use it to relax mentally a bit before I run   MsB - sometimes no change is good.  Right?   MMM - oh, isn't THAT the truth!  Oh well, business as usual at SC

I love collard greens, who would have figured ? Yup, a farm in town offers collard greens simmered with sliced pork and ham ! What a texture, tastes mighty fine.  My son hit the lottery !  From what I've been told he's all smiles tonight !  25 dollars is 25 dollars . . .  it still helps to fill the gas tank of your car right ?     Ain't nothing wrong with running . . . glad to see you're still here

Am here. Trying to log on  - but get stupid server messages so I don't comment much as I used to. Any way glad to see some of us still alive and kicking around here.

Welcome back, unique one. I side with Mimi. It is frustrating to come here every morning, battle SC, and see yet another post written in certain delirium by copsuniteandthefairies. c-man - I miss a lot of those scrumptious southern dishes of my youth, collard greens being one.

CM - I used to eat collard greens.  They're pretty good if you fix them right.  Tell your son not to spend it all in one place!   scipio - glad you're still here too despite the annoyances.   BTV - I breeze right past that drivel by cops.  I had to make a firm policy of not doing political blogs or commenting on them.  Too much potential for bad feelings over something that there will never be complete agreement on.
